Floatplane Safety Concerns

The CBC did a story about float plane safety after a crash. The Transportation Safety Board is recommending to Department of Transportation that all new and commercial floatplane aircraft be equipped with pop-off doors and windows as well as requiring passengers to wear inflatable PFD’s.
